Odhikar publishes the three-month human rights monitoring report (July-September 2021) on Bangladesh. This report reviews cases of civil and political rights violations, including state repression, deprivation of the right to life, violence against women and other gross human rights violations. The authoritarian government has carried out widespread repression by arresting, torturing and prosecuting many people for their involvement in opposition politics and for being dissenting voices. The government has brutally suppressed the right to freedom of assembly as well.
