Human rights monitoring report : January-June 2007

The human rights monitoring report describes the human rights situation in Bangladesh during the first six months of 2007, specifically describing the following areas:

  • extrajudicial killings
  • deaths in jail
  • freedom of expression
  • violence against women
  • violence against children
  • violence in Indo-Bangladesh border area

The report closes with statistics on violations and a list of 13 recommendations to the government of Bangladesh.
