Human rights monitoring report : August 2009

The August 2009 monthly human rights monitoring report describes the human rights situation in Bangladesh, specifically describing the following areas:

  • Extra-judicial killings are on the rise
  • Odhikar appeals to the Supreme Court to ensure human rights and a fair trial of the accused in BDR mutiny case
  • Odhikar expresses its concern over the deaths of children following consumption of adulterated medicine
