Md. Kamal Uddin (28), son of late Latu Miah, who was a resident of the village North Birinchi under Ward No. 5 of Feni Pouroshobha, was arrested by Taskforce during its anti narcotics drive on January 20, 2008. It has been alleged by Kamal’s family that due to immense beatings by the BDR personnel following his arrest, Kamal died on January21, 2008.
