On December 01, The Attorney General’s office preferred a Civil Miscellaneous Petition with the Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division; against the bail order for ASM Nasiruddin Elan that was granted by the High Court Division of the Supreme Court on 24 November 2013. Deputy Attorney General Ekramul Huq Tutul along with Sufiya Khatun, Advocate on Record appeared on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office while Advocates Ruhul Amin Bhuyan, Adilur Rahman Khan, Mohammad Yusuf Ali and Mohammad Asaduzzaman appeared on behalf of ASM Nasiruddin Elan. The Chamber Judge, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, passed ‘no order’ on the Civil Miscellaneous Petition which confirmed the bail order of the High Court Division. ASM Nasiruddin Elan was freed on bail from Kashimpur Prison-2 at 3:20 pm today, 01 December 2013.
The next date for appearance of both Nairuddin Elan and Adilur Rahman Khan at the Cyber Crimes Tribunal, for framing of charges, is 18 December 2013.
