On 8th October 2013 the High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh granted ad-interim bail to Odhikar’s secretary Advocate Adilur Rahman Khan. The High Court bench comprised with Justice Borhan Uddin and Justice KM Kamrul Kader. Advocate AJ Mohammad Ali appeared on behalf of Adilur Rahman Khan. He was assisted by Advocate Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan, ZI Khan Panna and Md. Asaduzzaman. Present with them were Barrister Sara Hossain, Advocate Sigma Huda and Advocate Aminuddin. At present, Advocate Adilur Rahman Khan is incarcerated at Kashimpur jail. He has been there awaiting trial since 13th August 2013 while a prosecutor for the cyber crimes tribunal is yet to be appointed. It must be noted that his bail application was rejected once by the magistrate court and twice by the cyber crimes tribunal.
