Mohammad Masud Ali (26) was the son of Mohammad Dadon Miah and Asiah Begum, residents of 583, West Monipur Molla road, Dhaka. At around 7.30 pm on March 25, 2012, police in civilian dress of Shah Ali Model Police Station arrested Masud Ali from in front of the Sony Cinema Hall at Mirpur. They took Masud in front of the Shetu Bohumukhi Somobay Shomiti Limited, 55 Boxnogor, Rayinkhola crossing on the Mirpur Zoo road in a microbus. His family alleged that the police shot him dead there.
