At 11.00 am on October 30, 2009, Parvez Zakaria (25) from the Uttor Chayabithi (crematorium) locality of 154/17 Gazipur Sadar Upazilla went to the Alam Auto Engineering Works at the old bus stand in Shibbari to fix his Laguna van. It has been alleged that three police officers from the Joydevpur Police Station arrested Parvez and tortured him at the station after blindfolding and gagging mouth and tying his hands.
